After several delays, I'm finally starting the 4-week Crystal Reports development project on Monday, May 5. Yeah!!!

Of course, now that I signed on to a project, two other longer contract opportunities with better rates have presented themselves. I'll interview for them and see what happens.

I have a 4-week contract doing Crystal Reports development that was supposed to start today but, the start has been delayed until April 30. Other than that, I'm still trudging on working at Starbucks and following through on leads.

Sanjog recently gave me a great lead at one of his clients and I responded and heard back regarding salary requirements. Now, I'm just waiting to hear back if they are going to call me in for an interview. I followed up but they still haven't called me back.

This market is rough....

No new news....

I've been plugging away and nothing seems to be working. I follow-up on the leads but things change and nothing seems to give way.

I drove by my townhome the other day and, luckily, it still appears to be empty. That's the only good news that I have right now.

No job, no house, no love life....C'est la vie!

I've been neglecting this page....sorry. I've been doing a lot of work at Starbucks and spending the rest of my time job hunting. (...Yes, I'm still looking.)

Starbucks is still a great job and I recommend working there to anyone. I love it!

I just finished a short contract for 21st Century Systems working with Jeff Mitchell again. I subcontracted through them to rebuild a Website for one of their clients. It was very short term work as I finished in 12 hours but, I enjoyed getting my hands dirty in code again. It was a good refresher since I've been out of the mainstream for awhile.

Beyond that, I'm still plugging away with the job search and still hoping I can get my house. I still have about 60 days left on my final extension for the house.
