Good day all.

Starbucks has been a fun job to have until I get something new FT. I'll probably keep this job for awhile afterwards. I recommend it to anyone interested in doing something different yet still challenging.

I had a couple more recruiter/consulting interviews but you all know how those go. I like to use the analogy of the interviews being black hole interviews. You interview with these recruiters and then, unless they have something for you now, you hardly ever hear back from them.

I had a lead through a customer at Starbucks last week. I haven't heard back from his company yet but he had told me they make take awhile to act on my resume. So, at least, my foot is in the door.

Keep on plugging because divine looks scary nowadays.

Week 20...

Update on the house.... The builder called me Friday to tell me they will have to cancel my contract for my townhome and put it on the market. In the meantime, they are going to give me a break on my earnest money by giving me 90 more days to come up with a job. So, what does this mean? I have 90 days to find a job and, if my house is still available, I can buy it without losing the earnest money I already have down. If my house has been sold, I can pick a new house, come up with new earnest money, and my current earnest money will be applied to the new home at closing. If I don't get a job in 90 days, I lose my earnest money altogether.

Update on the job... little change...few leads....no job yet.

Update on the part-time job... Starbucks is fun. They have a great training program and the constant flow of caffeine is great.
