Hi gang,

Today started Week 9 of my unemployment. It's not a pretty picture this week. My house closing is scheduled for Friday.

I had the final walkthrough on my new place today. It's beautiful. Afterwards, I drove home and made the call to the builders' corporate office to tell them I am out of work. Their systems were down and they said they'd call me back to see if there is anything that can be done. I'm still waiting....

Tomorrow, I will call my mortgage lender. Oh joy!

On the job front, no changes. I have lots of leads but no one is biting because of the holidays. So, there's lots of potential but no movement. Hopefully, I can stress this fact to the builder and get an extension.

I'm off to attend a business networking party tomorrow night sponsored by Ryze. To prepare for it, I'm creating business cards for myself. They will be business cards and mini-resume teaser cards. Hopefully, I can generate some leads with them.
