Happy Day All !

Monday was a slow day for the old job search. I heard back from a couple of people. One was an outplacement firm that wanted to charge me an arm and a leg to use their service and I decided against it because I don't have a spare arm and leg to give them.

The other opportunity I heard back about was for a Business Analyst. They told me I was overqualified and would be bored to death in the position. They also told me it was pretty much entry level and wouldn't pay enough for me either.

One of the things I'd like (like to have) in a job is for it to be local to Aurora. So, with that in mind, I've driven down the I-88 Corridor and written down the names of all of the major corporations I could see from the highway. Using this list, I'm hitting corporate web sites to check for available jobs and/or submit a resume for them to have on file.
